Frequently Asked Questions

  • How does it work?
    Simply scan the QR code located at the front of the Empower Charging Station and pay via Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay or Google pay. You will then be charged per hour of use. After use, simply return the portable charger, by inserting it into any empty slot.
  • What charging cables does the portable charger have?
    The portable charger has 3 different charging cables – Apple/iOS, USBC & Micro USB.
  • What if the portable charger is faulty?
    If you have just taken out a portable charger and it isn’t working correctly, please try to return it to its slot and contact support@empowercharging.com.au. If you return it within 5 minutes, you will not be charged. If you can’t return it to a slot, please contact support@empowercharging.com.au.
  • What do I do if I accidentally damaged a portable charger?
    Please contact support@empowercharging.com.au.
  • Are the portable chargers sanitary?
    Yes. All our stations use Empower Charging Sanitisation Technology™ after every use.
  • Are the portable chargers waterproof?
    Portable chargers are slightly water resistant, but if submerged in water, they will stop working. Please contact support@empowercharging.com.au ASAP if this occurs.
  • What if I can’t return a portable charger?
    Ensure you are inserting it the correct way. If it is damaged, you may not be able to return it. If so, please contact support@empowercharging.com.au.
  • How do I know if I’ve returned the portable charger?
    You will receive a text message informing you that the portable charger has been successfully returned, as well as the total amount charged.
  • How does it work?
    Simply scan the QR code located at the front of the Empower Charging Station and pay via Mastercard, Visa, Apple Pay or Google pay. You will then be charged per hour of use. After use, simply return the portable charger, by inserting it into any empty slot.
  • How much does it cost?
    Empower Charging Stations are completely free to own. We also install it ourselves, maintain it and repair it free of charge.
  • How does maintenance work?
    We handle all maintenance and repair, free of charge. If there are any issues with the charging station or the portable chargers, please contact us and we will replace them ASAP.
  • What if a customer is having issues with the portable chargers?
    Tell them to contact support@empowercharging.com.au. We will work to resolve their issue ASAP.
  • Are the portable chargers sanitary?
    Yes. All our stations use Empower Charging Sanitisation Technology™ after every use.
  • What if I want to move an Empower Charging Station, or no longer want it in my venue?
    Please contact us and we will move/remove it, free of charge.
